67. Here we go. I am so excited for this. 'Empire of the Dawn' by Jay Kristoff.

What Stalks the Deep is a mighty morsel, and another example of Kingfisher knocking it out of the park with an eerie, but somehow also wholesome, story.
66. Back to review reads with 'The Lost Reliquary' by Lyndsay Ely
65. Shamelessly influenced by my friend and the fact I love Alix E. Harrow, I've bumped 'The Everlasting' right to the top of my TBR.
Yep, creepy as heck but still gorgeous.
Yes! This is from the wonderful team at Titan UK.
64. Back with Alex Easton and the third in the Sworn Soldier Series with 'What Stalks the Deep' by T. Kingfisher.
Will grab you and drag you through its delicious twists and turns.

63. Back to a review book with 'Kill the Beast' by Serra Swift. It's off to a strong start, and there is a very good old dog who I know I shall adore.
62. I am reliably informed (by people who know my taste in books very well) that this is one I'll enjoy. If I don't, they may be cross. 'To Touch a Silent Fury' by R. A. Sandpiper is my next read.
Horror season is almost here! Find out what you should be reading.

61. Finally getting to one of the books I got at my birthday reading spa at Mr B's Emporium. 'Scarlet' by Genevieve Cogman
60. Another novella! I have been very excited for 'The Cold House' by A.G. Slatter. Even though I'm a massive scaredy cat for horror, I love Slatter's writing enough to terrorise myself.
59. I love a novella, and C. L. Clarke calls this her 'sad swamp lesbian story', so I'm fairly intrigued. It's also blurbed by two authors I love, so I'm taking that as an excellent recommendation. 'Fateโs Bane' is next.
58. Daniel Polanksy's 'Low Town' series comes highly recommended. I don't think I need to start with the novella 'A Drink Before We Die', but I'm going to because it comes first chronologically.
57. No word of a lie, I bought this in the Barnes and Noble sale so I could get one of the snazzy badges on the GoodReads summer challenge. Anything could be about to happen.
Are all of those people William Thorn? Or are they haunting him? I have questions.
56. I've left most of my books in the UK (sob), so the ones that came out are mostly ones I have still to read. Like this one. Next up is 'A Steep and Savage Path' by JJA Harwood
55. I'm always bad at listening to audiobooks, but 'Godsgrave' by Jay Kristoff only took 2 1/2 months, which is pretty good going for me.
I'll get my own, never fear. But I hope you love this!
๐ญ literally just said I was jealous of you and then here it is again. Making me more jealous!
54. I'm super jealous that my friend Krystle got their hands on Alix E. Harrow's next book, so I'm comforting myself with reading 'Starling House' instead.
53. One last little read before back to normal tomorrow. Though I'm so tired, I might only make it a few pages! 'Making History' by K J Parker
52. Holiday weekends are meant for reading lots of books, right? Also, finishing this one will mean that I hit my Goodreads reading challenge goal with 4 months left to go. Which is giving me all the warm, fuzzy feelings. Number 53 is 'A Spell for Change' by Nicole Jarvis.
He knows his swords and how to swing them, which makes for excellent reading.

51. 'House of Blight' by Maxym M. Martineau has been on my shelf for months. I'm really quite curious about it. So far, it's an easy read, too, which is always good!
50. The amazon adverts actually sent me a great shout with this one. Another Sourdough Universe tale with 'Of Sorrow and Such'. I'm really enjoying mixing longer and shorter fiction, makes me feel like a productive reader rather than a slow shambles.
49. OK, so that last book wasn't the answer. This, however, I know I will love. 'Daughter of the Otherworld' by Shauna Lawless is the first book in the second Gael Song trilogy.
