A little in-progress experiment at golden hour ๐
A gouache painting in bright pinks and oranges of a tunnel with dark, charcoal smoke at the end.
Tunnel Vision, gouache and charcoal on paper, 2024, 22x30in.
Feels appropriate for these dark times.

Here is a starter pack of working visual artists that I've connected with on bS so far. Let me know if you want to be added or add the pack to who you follow to help build an artist community. go.bsky.app/eVJ8id
Collection of gouache on paper works in progress, abstract paintings mostly done in warm, saturated colors with some dark blue tones.
I'm mulling over an idea for a new painting, tied to a longer process shift, and have finally found the sweet spot-there's an energizing vision/mark to begin the piece, but the next step is unclear, exciting. Artists, I'm curious what your sweet spot is for starting a new work?
Some wips for fun ๐
