Playing through GTA IV again is certainly a rush of nostalgia and remembering how amazing the writing in this game is but I'm also reminded how bad the car physics and handling were and getting used to that again is weird. But, GTA IV is top tier GTA.

A man at the end of his rope in a world that is moving on without him. Salvatore Leone is one of the best antagonists in the series because he's surprisingly one of the most complex to be one of the series earliest.

The downfall of Salvatore Leone is one of the best narrative threads that connects the 3D Universe GTA games together. When we first meet him in GTA 3 in 2001 he's an old mob boss who's clearly made hard choices to keep his power and crime family and empire together but, he's a paranoid old man.
