The new trend with kids doing runs to see how deeply they can get into scientology offices reminds me of how in high school I knew dudes who went to scientology and pretend to sign up just to see how long it would take to hear about xenu.

Exactly! Like it's a road with a lot of apartments on one side of the street and grocery store/pharmacy/restaurants (and beer store) on the other and it saves a TON of time and walking to have that light there. Plus there's tons of seniors. So her effort has paid forward over 40 years.
