When I'm standing on the train tracks next to my house in winter, staring in one direction and then the other and feeling so warm and at peace even though there's snow on the ground?

my favorite part of the whole interview was the clunky question: "when the operation was complete, do you know what disposition was made of, uh, the parts that were removed?" and her elegant answer. she's an icon!

some people probably know who this is and why this recording was made, but I SURE DIDN'T. i'm still a little shocked that this powerfully well-spoken LGBT leader existed and I didn't know her name. shame on me!!!
