Welp, the CEO of bsky is trolling trans users concerned about bigots. I'm pretty much done here, at least for now. You can find me on mastodon.

They're really gunning for the Dave demographic today, huh?
Speaking of, has Mint been treating you well lately? I know you had some driver issues on one version.
Since Dio is pronounced Dee-Oh, I read it as "Deez" which also worked.
D12 makes more sense coming from an rpg designer. ๐
That feels like an appropriate response to an ikea trip.
(Also damn I love that mimic one!)
We also regularly refer to our 13th Age, Pathfinder, or any other fantasy gaming sessions as "playing D&D" and have for a long time. I think that whether or not publishers get on board, players are already doing this for them.
My nephew this year is asking for "D&D but not D&D" so we're starting the process!
We're hiring part time (10-20 hours a week) game designers for the Cosmere RPG! Join the team that writes the core rule of the game. We're interested in industry veterans and newer designers with a few published works under their belt.

Doing well! Been old for a bit now, yeah. ๐
I referred to (and had to find) your player types article just the other week, while talking with a new player.
Either way, I just find it interesting seeing the different perspectives.
As such, the latest book (Player's Guide 2) doesn't even list them as an option.
And like, that's fair and all? But the ability to just shut down a project like that is a big part of what bothers me about Roll20.
That's the first book. I unfortunately don't have access to the latest update there (ToV Roll20 Update & Next Steps) but have this summary to go off of.

Basically Roll20 decided nothing ToV would be on the platform.
Interesting read, given that I just backed Kobold Press's latest kickstarter, which supports Foundry, Shard, Fantasy Grounds, and noticeably doesn't support Roll20. I believe this is because Roll20 themselves decided not to support ToV, but I could be mistaken.
It will never not be hanging in our house, friend! It's over our gaming table.
@aussiastronomer.bsky.social
Our wedding favours were custom dice with an image from XKCD, we cut our cake with Sting, we livestreamed the ceremony on justin.tv before twitch existed, and @d20monkey.bsky.social drew our wedding portrait!
Mine is still in use and has been for a solid decade! I don't have a picture at hand, though. ๐
Congrats man! I have no idea what a journalism thesis looks like, but it sounds stressful.
Seems up your alley - bsky.app/profile/zoewithasword.bs...
I wonder if there's about to be a burgeoning market for non-US based intermediaries who receive the games from Asia and ship to the non-US recipients, so that those copies never touch American shores?
I don't know if it's possible to embarrass Phil more than he's already willing to embarrass himself. Good luck!
It's so fucking good! It's honestly amazing it ever got made for network television.
Galavant! Amazing!
Christine and I quote that one a bunch too. "Love makes the world brand new" is a personal favourite.

(It can also work for non-ADHD as well, apparently. But it's an especially useful strategy for executive disfunction.)
It can be both!
The enjoyment of that state is an introvert relationship thing.
The fact that it can actually help you accomplish tasks even if the other person isn't involved? That's the ADHD thing!
Everyone benefits!
I'm continuously tempted to pick one up, especially since my main PC has been gaming on Linux for a couple years now.
WotC failed to launch yet another VTT?
This is my shocked face. Really.
Ooo, missed this one the first time! And thank you for the extra option to make it easier for Canadians!
