ttrpg is accessible but only if you have friends or are willing to meet new people. its a social scene!

ttrpg really is that interest that your investment in is 1000% rooted in the kinda groups youre playing with, both players AND gm. you could love a system theoretically but then the people youre playing it with are just miserable to be around and so it sours the experience

sometimes i roll my eyes and get irritated about someones video game or ttrpg opinion but then i remember that they probably have a hard time making friends irl when theyre so bitter about games becoming "accessible" and i chuckle
