We won’t go back on marijuana justice. There will be a question on the ballot this November that would undermine the progress we’ve made. Today we recommit to Care not Cages, reparations for the War on Drugs, and public health messaging about drugs and the carceral state.

URGENT! The Massachusetts House just passed a "social media ban" that would force YOU to upload a government ID or submit to a face scan to post online. CALL YOUR STATE SENATORS! 978-485-4694
Okay bluesky I need your help
I live in Massachusetts. You might think we're a bastion of lefty intellectualism but our state government a clusterfuck of post-puritan real estate bros

The Jewish tradition and the labor movement both value collective organizing against oppression for the liberation for all. It is through our solidarity that we are able to overcome bigotry, anti-semitism, and all divisive forces.
If you’ve been to a picket line in Greater Boston, there’s a good chance you’ve seen JLC folks there. I remember JLC's support for @hgsuuaw.bsky.social back in 2018 and the impact the support from rabbis and other Jewish labor leaders had on the strength and commitment of our members.
The JLC was founded in 1934 by Bundist unionists, amidst a time of rising fascism and the scapegoating of minorities and vulnerable people. Almost a century later it's still going strong and as vital as ever.
People gathered at round tables in a hall, happily dining and talking

It was my honor to join the New England Jewish Labor Committee for its Labor Seder. We reflected on the takeaways from the Passover story on our current labor fight, deepened ties with our community, honored champions of our labor movement, and heard from workers on the front lines of the struggle.

I was honored to stand with @harvardunited.bsky.social and talk with the @bostonglobe.com about the effects of @harvard.edu's devaluing of Muslim, Arab, and Palestinian lives and perspectives.
www.bostonglobe.com/2026/04/07/m...
As Trump expands the war apparatus to fund bombs instead of education, we must name the systematic devaluing of Muslim, Arab, and Palestinian lives.
All our students and community members deserve respect and safety. International students and non-citizens are essential to Cambridge and to Harvard.
The Palestine exception to free speech leaves our community vulnerable to the Trump administration’s attacks. We see it with the targeting of students across the country, including close to home against Rümeysa Öztürk and Mahmoud Khalil.

We loved having so many people join us to canvass for Trans Day of Visibility. Let's keep the vibe and momentum going, and do it again this weekend. Sign up at bit.ly/evan-canvass
When everybody is safe and supported to be themselves, we all are better. Inclusivity was at the core of the origin of Judy Jetson, and it was lovely to take a trip down memory lane!
So grateful to have this local inclusive business in our neighborhood! 🩵🤍🩷
On this 17th annual Trans Day of Visibility, DSA affirms its commitment to trans liberation and stands for those who are unable to safely speak out for themselves. To our trans comrades, family, friends, and neighbors - to our siblings - you are not alone. Join us.

I am humbled and excited by the prospect of serving as the first Massachusetts state legislator to use exclusively they/them/theirs pronouns. If elected, I pledge to carry our struggle every day, and never forget the movement that brought me there. Together we will win!

It’s a scary time and it’s easy to despair. But I think of how full my heart felt on Sunday, as we gathered for a Trans Day of Visibility rally to celebrate our collective joy and liberation. I know the simple power and beauty of people being themselves and organizing together cannot be suppressed.
So many come here for safety just as I did, but even here we have a long way to go to overcome bigotry and dehumanization. Last year, when a MAGA Republican introduced an anti-trans amendment, Dem state house leadership folded, refused to vote the amendment down, and advanced anti-trans language.
I grew up a closeted LGBTQ+ kid in Florida. When I moved to Cambridge at 18, for the first time I was able to safely explore and express my sexual orientation and gender identity. I never got to be an out queer kid, but I want a world where everyone can be themselves: as kids, and when we grow up.

Happy Trans Day of Visibility! On this day, and every day, we honor the resilience and diversity of the trans and gender diverse community right here in Cambridge and around the world.
Come join us today at noon! Updated RSVP link: bit.ly/rallyTDOV
i’ll be speaking at this today—hope to see you at Cambridge Common at noon!

Right now, attacks on the trans community are escalating. But when we come together, we are unstoppable. Join us next Sunday at 12 pm for a rally and canvass to celebrate the Trans Day of Visibility! RSVP: bit.ly/evan-tdov
We should have a state legislature that works with us, one that embodies Massachusetts values of honesty, collaboration, and evidence-based policy.
Instead of focusing on helping neighbors who need help shoveling their walkway or people who are still without power, state house leadership is focusing on giving out favors to lobbyists and donors.
House leadership is rushing this through and shirking transparency and open debate because they know that Massachusetts residents do not support giveaways to the utility and fossil fuel industries.
State house leadership plans to bring this forward for a vote tomorrow before the impact of these policies can be fully examined by energy affordability and climate advocates.
State house leadership released the latest version of the climate rollback bill yesterday, and 45 minutes later they advanced it from committee, even though key policies in the bill had never received a public committee hearing.
Had a great time shoveling out crosswalks, bus stops, fire hydrants & sidewalks with @evanforcambridge.bsky.social and other @bostondsa.org friends this morning!
It is a joy to organize together!
Our weekend canvass launch will take place this Sunday and Monday at noon, and we hope you’ll join us!

We will continue to connect with our neighbors & build the relationships of trust that are essential to solidarity.
People in Mass. are working together to meet this moment.
It is past time for our legislature to bring the same energy that our communities are already putting into action.
