FINAL THOUGHTS:
1-0 Legion
- Deserved win, only one shot on target allowed all match (2 if you count the shot off the inside the post)
- second half, the foot went off the gas for a while but Damus’ pressing was a game changer
- Full 90’ win
- McIllhatton impressed

Here’s the non-goal in the 88’.

My only guess is the ref deemed Damus offside and interfering with playing. Other than that? I got absolutely nothing.

In my unbiased opinion:

Seemed onside to me.

Pittsburgh has really grown into this match. Legion cannot seem to hold on to possession.

Does that change with Ronaldo on the pitch? I don’t think so. Hold up play is certainly in his locker but it’s far from his calling card.

Half time thoughts:

- Lively first half with Sam McIllhatton and Seba Tregarthen entering match
- Sam is up there for player of the half
- Legion really lucky to not be tied 1-1 after a cheap duel loss by Daley
- Per Opta, Dawson with 2 chances created. Much improved.
