One of the things that my urbanism group set up helps visualize some of that - CloseCall.report
It's not set up to track deaths (thankfully) but it does give people a place to highlight where they've almost (and/or) been hit, a heatmap that shows the risk, & ways to communicate to cities about it
this is why there’s been mass revolt and opposition to data centers being built in communities. it is genuinely a health hazard to live this close to something emitting this much sound. these need to stop being built
YOU MUST MAINTAIN YOUR STRENGTH AND POWER! HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT.

@seattle.bikedis.co crosses the bridge about 115 strong, if you aren’t here you’re missing out tonight!
a death tunnel, at that - there's practically no space on either side of the vehicle, which means if there's ever anything hazardous (a tesla catching fire, flooding, a nonresponsive vehicle) people are STUCK
I guarantee that the first person to create a device that either jailbreaks or serves as a dummy activator so people can bypass the "smart" features/surveillance/subscriptions is going to be rich as all hell.
(but seriously, let's please put in some consumer laws that prevent this shit)
This sounds like a job for @writnelson.bsky.social, as long as the chaos factor can reach 10,000%
The famous Andor line is that "tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle." Here is a perfect example of that through malicious compliance: Idaho forced the city of Boise to remove its Pride flags. So the city painted rainbows everywhere else.
"it rained the whole time. I'm sorry you missed the few weeks of good weather"
fuck my diet, i'm going to buy two bags of $5 potato chips and inhale them
I've said it before, but this novel is a must read, if not for the sake of the pure dripping satire that will get you to emit multiple guttural laughs, inbetween the poignant evergreen philosophies that could be considered a starter guide to morality.
Never forget, a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users.
ALL ROAD USERS.
What about painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all.
For sharrows, it’s actually safer to NOT have them.

passively overheard at a bar: "yeah! I went to the Mariner's game last week on the light rail now that it's open!"
"Right? I just leave my car parked here because I hate parking down there"
I tell you - trains are the goddamn future and people won't want it any other way.
Okay, that's it. I'm becoming a supervillian. I'm going to hire henchmen to hit up the traffic lanes at night and realign them to be hoatile to car traffic. I'll stick the whole of the city into car gridlock so bad everyone will be forced to take the train, bike, and walk only.

If folks can spare it or can help boost, I'm on a team working to put together a lesbian knight dating sim that needs all the help it can get to get crowdfunded in 9 days! www.kickstarter.com/projects/149...
Ultimately, it'd just result in them upending the betting odds in the pit. Spear was already practically unbeatable, with the both of them, no champion would ever get a foothold.
I do not advocate having a slingshot mounted on the handlebars of your bike with a locking rotational base and certainly cannot condone using porcelain bits as ammo to hit the windows of people endangering your safety.
Damn, I gotta start being louder about my hate for AI, I want that honor too.
Buy an ebike now, folks
today was an excellent day and i need not want for anything to have gone different
In one of the biggest applause lines of the morning, Dow said light rail would get to Ballard, West Seattle, Tacoma and Everett (as promised in ST3 ballot measure).
I will confirm that this strategy works
Quick reminder of the benefits of not using LLMs/AI in your company:
