www.theguardian.com/football/202... sums it all up. Sad but for those of us who remember 1983/4 it has been worse.

My son's school did an assembly on 'How to Revise' and his main take home was that he required revision snacks!

Oh my. I was lucky enough to get a couple of letrasets as birthday presents. I’m also old enough to have used some letraset for labelling some diagrams in my PhD thesis. Really enjoyed the nerve wracking thrill of the peel back to see if the whole thing had transferred!
I’ve used Audacity to record items that I owned on cassette and wanted to convert to media files now I no longer have a Walkman!

Passed the Scientology building on the way to a parkrun in Milan this morning. This evangelising cult with thousands of obsessive adherents worldwide was started in bushy park in London and arranges free, friendly 5k events every Saturday.

Lucky
I played one game alongside someone who had did a degree rather than turn professional. The amount of time he had on the ball was astonishing. He was so much better than someone else I’d played with who had been an England U18 international. Some players keep the class, others get dragged down.
Always deeply disappointed with what restaurants turned out when I lived in Spitalfields and Bethnal Green. Sugary, salty and oily. On the plus side, cheap and only 5 minutes walk! This sounds rather better.
One for SLT @sldav.bsky.social 😱
