Maybe it's a good thing you're not just an advert jingle guy, but they'd surely do much better just to simply hire you. Your 118-24-7 ad is utterly timeless, and the imitators? Quickly forgotten.

Ohhh yes I see the sarcasm now haha - forgive my slowness! It really is funny to look back on some of the concern from back then. As soon as we got out of the bottom 3 for the first time I knew we'd never look back.
What would that have changed?
We're in the unfortunate position where the teams closest to us are in excellent form, while the shakier teams (5th - 2nd) all have an insurmountable points lead on us. At this point we'd do well to even overtake Derby County.
Turbo controller maybe?
Funny to see Pete here, literally just watching the new Wrestle Me video.
Players expect something for 100%ing a game though. Odyssey gets it right by giving a cool enough reward (i.e. better than a jpeg) but not something anyone should care about missing out on.
they defo used to care a lot more. Especially 2010-2015 when they needed padding for the release schedules.
for me it seems a little silly to celebrate an anniversary every 5 years tbh, but it also wouldn't hurt for Nintendo to throw in a nice little bonus thing just to satisfy the diehards
I don't think Nintendo really care about anniversaries. They'd much rather release stuff on their own timeline than have their hand forced by the calendar.
Just pretend it's starting after the marathon (:
Can you confirm if the cardboard headset allows Switch 2 to be compatible with Labo VR? (assuming they even let you boot up the Labo games on switch 2, I haven't tested that)
If you want to see the UK version of this look up "Harry Hill's TV Burp" it burned briefly but brightly, before all the writers completely burned out on writing new material every week.
My man, I was literally eating exactly that when you posted this.
He's perfect
The "I will not explain" video being over 2 hours is just perfect.
It's an away kit.
Mmm idk, I feel like prevailing fan narrative is that the old guard are holding titles back. Gamers have been extremely quick to criticise Miyamoto while he was still producing. Ditto for Tanabe w/ Metroid.
Appreciate it's not super convenient but buying from charity shops is the way. The world doesn't need any more clothes and the old stock is more durable, by virtue of the fact it's still good to sell 20+ years after manufacture.
Panic Button and Rare are not remotely comparable.
Yeah it's kinda sad (although I'm grateful for the lack of FOMO). I'm hoping in year 2 or 3 they come out with some GameCube-ass colour palettes.
I think Nintendo will shy away from full colour joycon 2s for now at least in an attempt to differentiate Switch 2 from Switch 1.
I mean Paul and Ringo ARE still alive
Same. I mean it has to be a coincidence because it's so obscure but I can't not think about this one scene.
The differences between US/UK christmas music canon have always been interesting to me. In the UK we seem to have a deep reverence for the 70s-80s era of Xmas pop. Maybe that speaks to what the British public think of as nostalgic?
Games like those don't come together by accident - they know what they're doing. I suspect any deviation from SM/Prime1-3 are intentional, with the hope of reaching a bigger audience. Acclaimed as they were, those games were ultimately unpopular, and the series will die if it doesn't grow.
I think that's kind of a bold claim when many of the original directors and producers of those games are still with the company, and still working on the Metroid series.
The menus were actually his wife, who I suppose you'd still call Sakurai so not technically wrong
Favourite example of each? I'm still very fond of Ratchet: Deadlocked for number 1.
when are you guys gonna do a SEED BRACKET, with randomised...well you get it.
This is America's dumbest grammar rule and it's not close.
