Like, to be fair, the fights were cool and not awful. The sequence in the park at the end was funny but at times well shot and interesting. It’s one of those exploitation movies that has moments.

We writers will hold ourselves to a standard only we can meet or even know we haven’t met. You don’t have to do that. Just hold yourself to the standard that gets you to the next. Solve the current problem. Not the multiverse of problems.

The thing I have learned in tv is, they act like they want it all figured out before they say yes but you just have to make it sound like you have and they just have to believe you enough to have confidence you will actually figure it out later.

When budgets get crunched, long orders on hit shows make more sense if you can make them make more sense, which is what the entire basis of tv has always been and may someday be again. Let us pray.

Nothing he’s saying is wrong but it’s a little more nuanced and they are starting to realize that their own economics might work with longer episode orders on shows with the economics and fanbase of The Pitt.
