I just completed "Secret Entrance" - Day 1 - Advent of Code 2025 #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2025/day/1
my new AI powered lamp is trained on millions of lamp interactions so it understands that 50% of chain pulls are to turn it on and the other 50% are to turn it off. and honestly, it's a little spooky how it knows exactly what i want almost half of the time
Still so much "voice from nowhere" giving both sides equal time π
Great tips! One thing I've struggled with is whether the Prismo changes the Aeromatic recipes or not; usually any need to adapt?
On Breaking Bad, I never used to understand why they still needed their chemist after he'd come up with the initial formula... Until I tried making coffee day after day
Haha I was there, but there are way more variables at play that make a big difference in how much of which flavors are dissolved.
Trying out the Aeropress this morning. Any recipes to suggest?
Big fans of what Mistral has been doing here in π«π·
...so instead of the folklore that makes us type *more*, favor Passkeys, Password Managers, and Long Sessions (no forced pw resets).
The primary ways people get compromised online are through phishing and password reuse, so people need to nip that in the bud. The more often people type their passwords, the more likely they'll be tricked into typing it on a malicious site or reusing a password used elsewhere...
There's so much unproductive folklore around cybersecurity out there, a lot of it based on the flawed assumption that "what's hard for me must also be hard for the attacker." Wrong.
Most hackers have never seen an eggplant
NIST updated password guidelines that the byzantine "symbols and capital letters" and "change every 90 days" requirements "SHALL NOT" be required
ππΌ ππΌ ππΌ those outdated patterns encourage *worse* security, making people reuse the same convoluted password on every site

Thanks to the efforts of Mayor Ravi Bhalla, "Hoboken hasnβt reported a single traffic death since January 2017, and injuries have dropped 41%."
Explained to coworkers today that that the correct ratio of Thanksgiving pies to Thanksgiving eaters is 1:1, and I think I've found a hill worth dying on at long last.
another banger
+100 @racheltobac.bsky.social is the realest of real deals, and her book with @bitwarden.bsky.social (even for those of us using other password managers ππ₯°π) highly recommended.
Truly excited by how quickly passkeys are catching on: Safer *and* faster than passwords is a rare one-two punch in the security world! @google and Chrome offering seamless support across all your devices blog.google/technology/s...
(Oh Bluesky no TikTok preview thumbnails?) Google Account Security was my job and passion for almost 8 years. So fascinating and so challenging to get the balance right
Only some of this was my fault ππ www.tiktok.com/t/ZT86CfVEE/
