You Cannot Help but Bloom - Small Wonders This isn’t her teahouse anymore. It’s yours. The warm funk of old-fashioned pu-erh and oolong has faded beneath the aromatic orange blossom of your new house blend.

Steep a cup of tea and sit for a while with "You Cannot Help but Bloom" by @speculativekane.bsky.social. Consider, what (and who) makes you feel lighter, greener, freer? Reach out with the tendrils of your heart and let it blossom.

The only dating advice I can offer is you gotta write it on the label, otherwise Health Inspectors will mark you down for unlabeled open bottles and shift managers will flip. Also, expired orange juice is disgusting and will explode if shaken.

"This is How You Lose the Time War" has been on my TBR shelf for a while for a bittersweet reason; I knew I was going to love it, but didn't want it to be over too soon...

Finally started it today. And yeah, I'll probably finish it tomorrow.

Absolutely wonderful writing, and fun, too.

For our anniversary, my partner and I got a 3L barrel to age our own concoctions. This one came out the best!
(apt, as I'm playing a bard in DND right now)

This recipe base and a few other personal favorites from my seven years of bartending will be in Saros #2 for those who enjoy libations!

Such a pleasure! I loved the use of this experimental style to playfully explore a modern social dilemma. Thanks for trusting us with your story.

Jinxy, the lynx-point Siamese cat with a red bow, stares through a window at a mischievous squirrel.

First bluesky post has to feature the kitty, right? Friends, meet Jinxy. She yells at squirrels and flops around with reckless abandon--partially because she's crosseyed.

She's a good girl.

Cover for Saros Speculative Fiction #2: Cocktail Edition

In the background, there's a bunch of ethereal blue and pink wisps, like maybe paint strokes or impressionistic clouds? From off cover, a hand in a suitsleeve, holds a halved citrus, from which a tentacle emerges. The tentacle is dripping into a wine glass, which contains an open mouth.

Text on the bottom says:
