I remember us playing a back five, but I thought we still had those three in midfield, with Ramsey playing as a left sided centre mid. I think Murphy was then playing off Osula up top.
Either way, those three have't been used a lot together.
We’ve only started that midfield, three times this season. Away at Leeds, the draw vs Chelsea before Xmas and the loss at Man Utd on Boxing Day.
To be fair, Ramsey missed a month early on with an injury, then struggled to get in for a while. Bruno was then out for two months injured himself.
Such a shame we’ve been awful lately, because the European spots are there for the taking.
Brighton, Brentford and Fulham all drew, while the Mackems and Everton lost this weekend. About as perfect a set of results as we could’ve hoped for, if we'd done our part.

I didn’t watch him every week at Forest last season, but his play now looks the polar opposite. I’m guessing it’s a mix of confidence and what he’s been asked to do. At one point in the first half, we broke and Miley nearly ran into him at CM, he’d dropped so deep.
I’ve never known a winger like it. Elanga’s arguably one of the fastest players in the league, but he insists on dropping deep when we’re countering. That’s before we talk about his inability to pass or dribble.

I think we came out afterwards and said the reason we didn’t do the deal was that they changed the offer at the last minute to a loan with an option to buy, instead of a £30M transfer.
I said at the time I’d have ripped their hands off for anything close to £30M, as we'd have doubled our money.
I think he can still improve with game time, but I’m not sure he’ll ever be good enough to play regularly for us.
He might be one try and sell for profit as clubs have apparently been interested.

When he signed at 21, I'd say he was a project. In reality, he probably should’ve gone straight back out on loan for regular game time.
I think if he’d had that consistent run of games, he’d be further along in his development, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’d be a PL level striker now/ever.
Osula was always a project signing, but he needs regular minutes to develop. He should’ve gone out on loan or been sold.
Even without a fit, recognised striker, he hasn't played regularly.
Injuries haven’t helped, but I can’t see him ever playing in meaningful games.
