Not a bad morning on patch at Staines Res and moor. Got wet and 💩 photography .. still had fun though. BNG, Slav Grebe, Water Pipit and Cmn Sand.

Booted Eagle yesterday in Cornwall. A few front on and back views. Showing the 'landing lights' either side of the head, a diagnostic feature of both morphs of Booted Eagles. Europe's smallest eagle.

Litter picking is not all doom and gloom. Kingfishers for company and a hell of a sunrise were my payment. Plus free work out happy days ... the amount of litter still sucks though.
Litter picking on the Hogsmill LNR all done. Nice early clean up had its disadvantages though, glasses fogged up and picker froze shut. 🤣🤣
Staines today, best was hearing the diver call. T'was bloody amazing to hear.
These are never gonna win any awards but glad to get this grip back today at Steart WWT - Least Sandpiper. Lovely to bump into a whole bunch of old mates and meet some new one's.
