I will never ever in my life support any group that perpetuates violence. And if this statement shocks you, I don’t know what else you would expect from a queer artist. Together we are strongest and they fear that. Our humanity is our strongest weapon in this fight. Love WILL melt the ICE.

ICE does NOT belong in Minnesota and most certainly NOT in any other city. Their abuse of power is down right horrendous and they need to be brought to justice. Though no legal justice will ever suffice for the damage they’ve caused to so many innocent families.

Now I have not said anything directly about these issues as I believe art is a powerful tool that can be used to share messages subliminally without being too blunt. However it can no longer be denied that these issues have to be addressed with as much clarity as they deserve.

As a Minnesotan I want to say that I am so happy that I am a part of this powerful community. I have always believed that what this administration is doing is wrong and that people always must come before anything else.

Community and human respect has always been something that I hold to be quite important. My project “HomeSteady” is the embodiment of that principle. We as people can do so many amazing things when we all band together and help one another.
