Oh for God's sake.
Floorplan of house, bedroom 3 has no door marked. But it does have a window. A light red arrow points at the window.
Dude. The window's right there 🤷♂️🤣
There's about 80k unoccupied residential units, plus at least 20k derelict. Lack of housing stock is not the cause of homelessness. The hoarding of property, to increase rents, is the main cause of homelessness in Ireland. That's the problem that needs tackling.
To say "Ireland is full" is not to hold or outline a view - it's a formally meaningless statement of course - it's rather to make a signal to the violent minority for whom this phrase is a claim to racist and fascist solidarity. Time to stop treating II like a normal party maybe. #speirgorm
I don't want civil incredulity from the opposition on this. I want fire and brimstone rage. I want to hear unparliamentary language hurled at the scumbags enabling it.
We're well past the line in the sand where we should have said no more. This is madness #spéirgorm
this is very important to me personally
I will only accept a lifetime vow of silence at a monastery in the Himalayas from any of these people.
Yeah, that looks more like what I was expecting.
"The upstairs rooms stay cold in winter because what’s the point in heating them" - I think the point is mould prevention.
I'd also get the feeling whoever buys it eventually will want/need to put another 100k+ into moderation, possibly much more.
Little known fact: if nobody will pay £850,000 for your house, it's not worth £850,000.
Literally Beth Upton's entire crime is being a trans woman with a half decent job and they will never forgive her for that.
Hate it! In an old office years back ... I used to regularly ground myself by touching radiators or windows to try and avoid getting shocked by door handles - was a nightmare.
Static shocks?
"Microsoft and DigitalEurope, a lobby group whose members include Amazon, Google and Meta, secured a secrecy provision in EU law to block public access to critical information on data centres’ environmental impact."
Jeff Buckley at Whelans on the Sin-é solo tour, just himself, no band, he was very personable, drank a pint of stout in one go, chatted from the stage…there was fuck all people there. When he launched “Grace” there a few months later it was rammed.
False claims of a stabbing at Connolly Station on Saturday night were shared to millions of people by a US commentator who had travelled to Ireland to cover the fuel price protests.

Any councillor admitting on the record that they struggle to see cyclists and pedestrians on the road is admitting that they are a danger to the public and not fit to drive, and their licences should immediately be suspended.
Warren: "Why try to end independence of the Fed? Bc Trump's economic failures are causing him political problems, he wants the Fed to artificially juice the economy Having a sock puppet in charge of the Fed would also give the president access to the Fed's powerful authorities to enrich himself"
Sounds like a great double bill! 👩🚀🚀🌿💨
‘Dublin used to be the only capital where a woman was safe ..from molestation in the streets.Women [are] more respected in ireland than [elsewhere] in Europe. In less than 3 months the …….. have succeeded in destroying that traditional respect. Sounds familiar eh! But who said this about whom & when?
The idea that you need to send corrupt sociopaths as Ambassadors to DC is so funny, because it's a standard we have never applied anywhere.
We don't appoint corrupt gangsters to embassies in Moscow or religious fanatics to Tehran.
Also, Mamdani is able to handle Trump fine without becoming him.
If you attend the White House Correspondents Dinner this year, you should be legally barred from using the term "journalist" to describe yourself from that point on.
A screenshot of a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Magyar Péter (Ne féljetek), with the handle @magyarpeterMP. The post reads: "Until 31 May, the Orbán puppets may voluntarily step down from their positions. This applies to the President of Hungary, the President of the Curia, the President of the National Office for the Judiciary, the President of the Constitutional Court, and the Prosecutor General. On 12 April, the Hungarian people voted for a complete political transformation. If these officials do not step down voluntarily by 31 May, then — on the basis of the mandate received from millions of Hungarians — we will remove them from office." At the bottom, the timestamp reads "3:04 AM • Apr 21, 2026" alongside "19.9K Views".
Peter Magyar is not playing around at all. He's going to purge every single remnant of corrupt Orbanism. This is exactly how Dems need to be when they retake power.
I think all the gritty adaptations of IPs for the last 20 years have made y'all lose your whimsy. This is fun.

How tragic that you could publish, then re-publish, then re-publish, then re-publish, then re-publish a cartoon like this over and over again...
