Had it in the Sutton Arms and it looks thought it was superb.

@willhawkes.bsky.social What's wrong with dimpled glasses?
Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you π
@willhawkes.bsky.social hi Will. I was hoping you can please help me find one of your old blog posts. It had a lot of where to drink nearest to all of London's League football stadia?
Arrived in Brussels and starting with lunch and a beer at La Corbeau as per tradition.
A chicken escalope sandwich from Scotti's
I've wanted to try the chicken escalope sandwich from Scotti's for a good while now and...wow.
A perfect pint of Marble's Manchester Bitter at the Arch is my beer highlight so far this year.
Yeah it was lovely. Second pint even better. First time here since the Sutton Arms merger and it feels like it's upped a notch.
Cheers! Your post inspired me to come out.
Back then boards were much more patient with a relegation. Brian Robson and Peter Reid both kept their jobs after being relegated the previous season. Looking back, seems mad Robson kept his job.
I have three pieces of artwork from artists I discovered through Pellicle. π
Never realised you got relegated
Thanks! I couldn't find online proof that #safc were in for Kuyt but my memory is we were linked the same summer he went to Liverpool.
My thoughts exactly. And this save proves we would have won the Prem had we signed him instead.
Bramble and Defoe I added yeah. Think Bramble will be on the game next version (he made his debut in 98-99 so no reason why not).
I do feel like the story ends here. Would be interesting to see how Crouch, Defoe, Bramble and the Steve Bruce regen do but I don't feel like I can take the club any further. I might try for a Division 3 job.
Here's the squad. Very health in attack and Emerson Thome came in and was superb at the back. The deadline day signing of John Terry (applied to be manager IRL) helped. Midfield was a bit more shaky. Ray Parlour came in but averaged under 7.
There we go -managed to win the league with Sunderland only signing players they had or were linked* with in real life. It felt fun to Google every available player's name to see if #SAFC were ever linked.
Bear baiting, cock fighting, bare knuckle boxing, public executions, crucifixions, gladiator fighting, fox hunting, football hooliganism - all things of the past. Civilization has been slowly becoming more civilised for thousands of years.
Early visit to Beigel Bake. Tried a chopped herring Beigel. It was decent enough - very fish - but the salt beef will always be king.
Certainly in Germany and Belgium it's not the etiquette to ask for tap water. However, if you are spending alot of money and buying other drinks they will usually oblige.
Interesting to see what's possible. Even with an overpowered lower league team I've always struggled in cups and my strikers always go on scoreless runs after starting the season well.
I need to look into why I'm not receiving the CAMRA magazine!
Him and Melville have both been very good. Thome is an upgrade though.
My main issue is it's impossible to sell and loan out fgn players.
Out go Flitcroft and Rae and in come Savage and Delap. Arca finished the season strongly but he's out for a year with a broken leg. Emerson Thome comes in to strengthen us at the back with Varga being released on a free (I lost patience after 3 years on the transfer list).
England cap for Jody Craddock. Part of the fun of this save. Normally, I would have flogged Craddock whilst we were still in Division 1. #cm9798 #safc
How do you turn it off?
It's not awful - the worst you can say it's bland - IMO of course βΊοΈ
