Balanced the budget, made renewable energy possible, greatly expanded healthcare, led to the right to abortion and gay marriage, among other things.
*Except in 1992, 1996, 2008, 2012, and 2020—and also got the Democrats the most votes in 2000 and 2016. So it was only successful in getting the most votes in 7 out of the last 9 elections.
I love tongue tacos. They’re the best
They’d just write a chicken wing, one broccoli floret, a corn tortilla and one other thing
Makes sense. And the other thing is probably a sheep’s tongue?
Well, I can identify the carrots but beyond that?
Just 18 more Democratic seats and impeachment might be possible!
I would have taken him for more of a Damiano Defense sort of guy
Half the time is amazingly generous
No. Between the misogyny and the racism I’m afraid not
Unfortunately a plurality of our voters seem to be six year olds
No. It makes no sense. Articles of impeachment HAVE BEEN FILED. Nothing happens as a result.
Only because people don’t understand the system.
This is what happens:
A resolution to impeach is filed in the House (this has already happened). The resolution is referred to the appropriate House committee, which is chaired by a Republican.
Then it dies. It’s never brought for consideration.
The one thing Democrats need to do is get in the majority (plus one in the Senate because of Fetterman). Then they can do many things.
Has no one ever explained to you how a Democracy works (or at least is supposed work)?
No. It’s wasting your time, effort and money on what’s obviously (OBVIOUSLY!!) a pointless and hopeless effort makes you look like a fool.
And, in spite of what Trump’s success might make you think, looking like a fool is not a successful strategy.
It’s thinking like this that fractures the Democratic Party’s base.
Does Trump deserve to be impeached and removed from office?
Yes.
Is there the remotest chance of it before the midterms?
No.
Will it help the party win the midterms?
No.
Will trying to impeach make a few people happy?
Yes.
No. That’s not the answer.
I doubt you’re old enough to remember the Eisenhower administration
Paper?
Then Colby sneered and asked, “How many divisions does the Pope have?”
You seem to understand nothing and then complain when your skeets aren’t taken seriously
You need very different clothes for Argentina and Siberia. It’s like choosing between Vodka and Malbec
We need to remember that we, the voters of the United States, elected Donald John Trump as our President. Even if (like me) you didn’t vote for him, two thirds of your neighbors, friends, relatives either voted for President Trump or didn’t vote.
Like it or not, this is who we now are as a people.
And what else does he have the power to do?
Dementia could explain a lot
Take this bread and ear of it . . .
You forgot about the Iranians throwing flowers 😡
Bacon from the British Isles is ham
Spam is much better
