Nope, they all had a unique erm… quality to them. I was a surprise so I had best part of a decade where it was just me.

This is an extraordinary, searing interview. In the context of the repulsive new Jackson biopic, it raises questions about why so many people just don’t want to know what he did. FWIW I saw Leaving Neverland before HBO pulled it, and I absolutely believe those kids.

ABSOLUTELY this Ed. And the state of the discourse means that even candidates like me, who have stood multiple times genuinely need to be asked multiple times to do it again.

Depressing reading and my own local party need to improve this. It is a system issue, women are more likely to have caring responsibilities, parties need to offer more support to women. No party is doing this adequately.

Data is in for local elections 2026! So how we doing?

Not well. Representation is reversing.

Gender balance of councillors is heading down.

It is a system issue - we can fix the system!

EARTH DAY REAL HOPE. REAL CHANGE. Green Party Promoted by Chris Williams on behalf of The Green Party, both at PO Box 78066, London SE16 9GQ

Good news on Earth Day: 99% of growth in global electricity demand last year was met by solar and wind.

We'll keep fighting the vested interests of the fossil fuel industry and their efforts to spread climate denial to protect their profits.

For people and planet.

Show me the joke here?

What’s funny about this?

When MPs have been murdered in recent years why does the Home Secretary think this is funny?

The Prime Minister knew of Mandelson's friendship with Epstein but chose to appoint him anyway.

As @elliechowns.bsky.social said yesterday: "What is unforgiveable is that he was more concerned with pandering to Donald Trump than with standing with the victims and survivors."

He must resign.

Once again. These people do not want freedom of speech, they want the freedom to monolog without criticism.

They're going to end the freedom of speech of students to protest bigoted speakers they disagree with.

Imagine the front pages if a Green Party worker had been caught doing this!

Now contrast the complete silence when a Labour MP does it.

Both the way this cheating was caught together with the lack of media reporting of it shows that Labour is on the side of the oligarchs who own the media.

A GENTLE REMINDER: we are trying to eliminate fossil fuels because using them kills us.

If fossil fuels were cheap (they're not) or reliable (they're SO NOT), it would still be urgent to get rid of them because their intended use destroys our life support systems.

Not really, I think AI isn’t helping people make friends or connections and it’s mostly stealing, eating and poorly regurgitating other people’s art from what I’ve seen but maybe I’m wrong. I can only speak to my personal experience.

Nope, some older people weren’t using it so much but I was 22 and we were downloading music, on message boards making internet friends and thinking it was brilliant. No one had to force us.

Sharon Osbourne indicates she will join Tommy Robinson's anti-immigration march Sharon Osbourne has suggested she will be joining Tommy Robinson's anti-immigration 'Unite the Kingdom' march.

Sharon Osbourne, an immigrant in the US, joins Tommy "10 names" Robinson, son of immigrants, with an Irish passport, who lives in Spain, on an anti-immigrant march in London 🤔

Green MP: Labour caricatures working-class people over greyhound racing Hannah Spencer says minister ‘continuously offends people by saying working-class people don’t care about dogs’ Labour is “offensively caricaturing” working-class people by saying they do not want a greyhound racing ban in England, the Green party MP Hannah Spencer has said. The sport has traditionally been associated with working-class culture and has historically been popular in so-called red wall areas, which Labour insiders suggest is part of the reason why there are no plans for England to follow bans announced last month in Scotland and Wales. Mamdani hasn't had time to really think about all that space he now has, because he spends most of his time at City Hall and around New York City. He tries to keep a semblance of his old life by getting around the city on foot, by bike or train.

"If you spend every single day driving around in a tinted window security detail, you will have a very specific view of the city," he said. "You actually meet other New Yorkers and you break out of the bubble that so many have come to expect of politics, where politicians only seem to be spending time with other politicians or the people who donated to make them politicians."

I'd say that this applies to anyone traveling in a car in any city. Being in a car versus walking, riding, or taking transit fundamentally changes how you view a place and your relationship to it. I wish more leaders set this kind of example.

Mandelson update: the official version (well, one of them) is that his appointment was decided before vetting was complete.

I've been vetted by 2 different govts, & both times my employment contract was signed *pending successful security clearance*. Had I failed, the contract would've been void.

This week I’ve been challenging the Govt’s sinister attempts to abolish the right to choose a jury trial.

Here is the Minister confirming that the right to elect a jury trial IS being completely abolished with this Bill!

A fundamental cornerstone of our justice system established in 1670: gone.
