Well said. And if anything this may understate how much the rate of acceleration has increased in the past few years. We are going up the curve ever faster!

What’s their unexpected electrification acceleration story from 2025? Like, I recall learning Pakistan’s total diesel consumption dropped 10% in a single year because so many farmers switched to cheaper solar for water pumping. What similar type surprises did they see last year?

That Denver to Aspen hop just got an upgrade.

I remember an insane March snow storm in graduate school in Somerville and our Sunday brunch went on as planned because I pulled on snowshoes and hiked a few blocks to Stop and Shop.

Palena, Cleveland Park mid-2000’s typical DC high end restaurant (ex-WH chef) BUT with a $10 burger only available at the bar. That burger, in a word, was exquisite. For this recent grad working for a non-profit, it was heaven, at a bargain basement price.

Get some Charlotte folks on that direct CLT-SFO flight, have ‘em hop over to Milbrae, and then take the newly electrified Caltrain end to end. Having used it on my trip to San Jose a few weeks ago, I’m certain they’d immediately appreciate the difference!

With all due respect, the national labs that fall under his purview have done outstanding work to help operators “know when they’re gonna be there.” I know this is a standard talking point RE: renewables but it doesn’t reflect reality in 2025. These systems are highly reliable & well understood now.

In the Canadian context, once Gord Downie was diagnosed with cancer, it was like a real time national exercise in watching the country pre-mourn his death. Felt like what you describe here as he worked so hard to perform. His last time on stage, one song w/ Blue Rodeo, is breathtaking to watch now.

Would love for you to dive into the point that Jigar made to you in your live talk about AI + Waymo and the implications for how we arrange our communities in a future where this is easy access to autonomous vehicles. You sounded…skeptical. 😂

Do you anticipate this break even level will continue to decline or would this signal a new “status quo” level?

I get that the first response from many people may be a spit take, but for the 2 locations they’re talking about this isn’t actually that crazy of an idea (there’s adjacent rail access to both). That said, I’m not sure it’s actually solving a problem that couldn’t be solved w/ stationary batteries.

I Helped the Army Remember Its Values. I Wish I Could Do the Same for the Country. The virtues we uphold define who we are as soldiers or civilians, individuals or a nation.

Too many people have forgotten what it means to be an American, to live by American values. Some of us are too far gone and will never be back. But today the rest of us should read this - and remember.
