Would that be 2x COY Mike Brown? Yeah, he’s getting roasted on here tonight.

The audacity of reaching in on Brunson without an automatic whistle.
SUCCESSFUL HATE WATCH
CJ won it, then almost gave it back, but there was a happy ending anyway. The Hawks who played the Celtics so tough late last month finally showed up in the 4th quarter.
I’m a homer, but sixth is CRAZY
McHale telling everyone he packed for only one game in Chicago, and being right. 😅
April 20, 1975: The CBS intro for Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals featuring Tiny Archibald & Scott Wedman of Kansas City-Omaha and Chicago's Chet Walker & Jerry Sloan.
Bob Love had 30 PTS/12 REB in a 104-77 Bulls win. Archibald & Wedman each had 13 PTS for the Kings.
Gotta love the old-time TV graphics. Scott and Tiny, future NBA champs with the Celtics.
Michael Jordan’s 63 point game against the Celtics was 40 years ago today.
Three things I always remember (besides being scared to death watching):
Jordan…
…attempted 0 three-pointers.
…missed a wide open jumper to win it at the end of the first OT.
…scored 49 in the previous game, two-game total 112 points.
But the Celtics swept the series, so it’s all good.
Round one giving us Rob vs. Luke, two of the most entertaining personalities in the league today. And ever, probably.
They sure did look like they were about to disintegrate. Another thought, if they had actually gotten the 7 seed, they might’ve come to Boston on a mission to atone for being embarrassed in game 82.

But they’d have spared themselves a ton of humiliation. 😉
If the Magic had played against the Celtics subs or against the Sixers with anywhere near the intensity they're showing tonight in Detroit, their lives would've been a lot easier last week.
After today’s 32pt rout of Philly in game 1, a caution for Celtics Nation that it’s only one game. Don’t overreact in the postseason. For reference, Bird’s 1982 team pounded the Sixers in game 1 by 40, but lost game 2 and the series. (Good news, though, Dr. J is retired now.)
He was standing right in front of me. 🤩
Eddie House on the postgame set inside TD Garden is wearing his championship rings. The second picture is from one time I visited the set. Eddie walked over and let us get a good look. That’s badass. 😎
every fanbase chanting “we want boston”:
That's 1 of 16. Put it behind us and get ready for game 2. Not likely to be so easy.
Yes! I'll always hang onto that because it was the last highlight that year. 😑
Oh, then my bad. I was going by the chyron on the screenshot. I'll try to do better next time. 😉
I remember that part too well. But I'm obligated to mention that it was the first time in 9 tries that LA beat Boston in the Finals. 😎
Did he say that? But that's not what the on-screen caption says.
💯
I'm not surprised you know that score, too. The good news today is these Sixers aren't even as good as the '85 LA second team.
1 down.
Unfortunately, they're wrong. Game 1, 1985 Finals, Celtics by 34 over Lakers, 148-114.
It's a party now.
