Actually, I don't misunderstand you. I agree for the most part, but I don't believe we're done with the two-party system just yet. I believe right-minded folks have to take over the DP and rebuild from the inside. One of the first orders of bus: Citizens United and the Electoral College have to go.

I've said this numerous times now, but I do not support Newsom as a candidate. That doesn't mean I can't appreciate his efforts: 1) suing the T admin for using federal troops in LA, 2) trolling T online, 3) fighting back with gerrymandering.

I am learning every day, and my heart is in the right place. We may disagree on some things, but I believe in your right to freedom in human rights. And I will fight for them until the day I die.
By the way, I never tell people what to do. I am simply a person with a voice and a perspective. Twenty years ago, I didn't even know about the Trans community. Now, I know people in that community. I am invested in their well-being. I may not get everything right. But I am damn while trying.

I'm not sure how many times I have to say this...apparently a lot. I do not endorse the Cali governor for president. I never said I did. What I said is that he is being an effective tool against Trump right now. That doesn't mean we have to support him for president in 2028.
The alternative is allowing a dictatorship to engulf our country. In that scenario, policy only leads to death.
Candidates who can evolve on the issues, based on supporters who push and educate them.
This is admittedly very hard when real people are being impacted by policy. People for whom policy can be the difference between life and death.
As much as I would like to only support political candidates who are on the right side of every issue, those candidates do not exist. So I support reasonable, persuadable candidates who can help us move the needle in the right direction.

I will say that it's damned hard knowing that the people you're fighting for every day hate you. And I will cry some pretty tears, which I'm sure you expect, but then I will get up and keep fighting. Because I will never give in to the right or those on the left who call call me names.
