Remarkable considering all the talk about our poor away record. I suppose we've been second best in most of those draws but still.
I wouldn't have thought that at all!
When chasing a goal structure is largely forgotten about. You need your most clinical striker on. And despite his lack of game time we know Piroe doesn't miss many chances when one comes.
In form after tonight might be generous but in the bigger picture we certainly are in form!
Because we need a goal by hook or by crook?
Well worked tbf, Longstaff could have perhaps closed down his man more
Your exaggerating! We've got 0 goal threat because Bournemouth are the better side and have had most of the ball. If we didn't have the cup semi final on Sunday we'd have had a better go.
As I was saying...
It hasn't been utterly woeful, Bournemouth are just showing their class and good form
We are still playing for something in the league though, aren't we? A) to cement survival and B) every league position higher is ~ยฃ2.5 million more I think, with FA Cup ยฃ2.1 million if we win it. Could catch Palace so it's worth it.
Best of luck!
They did have a couple knocked off for slow over rate but still! On paper their batting line-up is pretty solid and I'd take many of their players at Yorkshire, but the turmoil in the bowling personnel must have had a psychological impact.
Nostalgia overdrive with that episode of #Balamory, even if some things have changed (it was better in my day etc. etc.)
A blessing in disguise that unfortunately
I fancy them to win and cut Spurs adrift
There's no need to panic, there is very little chance we will lose 5 in a row AND Spurs win 2 out of 4 (not counting the game they win against us in the event of us losing 5 in a row). #LUFC
*Restore Southampton in fact
I'm not like that. Don't want Reform Ipswich, Reform Millwall or Reform Southampton going up!
I genuinely thought this year we'd be there to make up the numbers before progressing slowly each year. Given how young our squad is overall it gives me hope for the future. A challenge will come when Winfield Hill retires
Thoughts on how Yorkshire have done so far? Very surprised we beat The Blaze given the heaps of experience they have. I thought we'd struggle with our youth, and have drifted in games at times, but we haven't been thoroughly outplayed yet. Feel we are a bowler and batter light in our squad though.
We can afford to park the bus on Weds and just focus on Sunday now
TV deal means TNT has the majority rights but BBC has some limited freeview simulcast rights. Obviously TNT want the bigger game all to themselves, hence why Man City Southampton is being showed on both.
That was absolutely fabulous, terrific team effort. Very enjoyable day.
YORKSHIRE WIN!!! We beat the Blaze by 71 runs ๐
What a perfect day that was in the glorious sunshine! Yorkshire women's first ever tier 1 win, and a bonus point too! A cracking win down the road too, plus crucial wins for Scarborough, Harrogate and other teams I like in their respective battles, and of course a defeat for Leicester. Bueno! #LUFC
A MASSIVE WIN ๐

At the cricket so relying on @grahamsmyth.bsky.social @berencross.bsky.social for updates. It took me a while to decipher the order everything happened in! #LUFC
First home game in tier 1! #Yorkshire #Cricket
This is a week just to get through
BBC says Lancs Somerset is at Southport?
