When you’re done with that, looking into how to build your own LTE/5G networks (both the Network Core and RF side) is a whole new rabbit hole :) Lots of interesting stuff to figure out (and wonder how any of that even works reliably in practice because it’s so complicated)

Man I hate those vertical USB-C ports for exactly that reason so much! I wish I had an X-Ray when I last soldered them by hand, it’s almost impossible to see whether pins are shorted or not soldered down correctly
