Our etsy sales are how we subsidize our mentorship program. Right now we're able to offer stipends to two mentees a year! Your purchase makes that possible.

In the same manifesto, Palantir's owners argued that we need a national military draft, that soft power is over, and that we were too hard on Germany and Japan after World War II. I don't think that company should be allowed to exist anymore.

“And they said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.” That’s how a zombie outbreak starts, with the wrong response to Patient Zero.

MAGA wants teen births. It won't work Teen birth rates are at historic lows — and young women want to keep it that way

Republicans are getting more brazen — in rhetoric and policy — in pushing teenage girls to give birth.

The good news is that it won't work. Girls aren't going to fall for it.

An analysis.

HORMUZ TRACKER: Widespread U-Turns Take Place Amid Iran Warning Shipping through the Strait of Hormuz briefly surged early Saturday before collapsing as Iran warned shipping in the area that the corridor was closed to maritime traffic once again. A broadcast, hear...

Bloomberg: "A total of 12 commercial ships completed successful outbound transits on Saturday morning London time, before it became clear that Iran was halting transits again. At least half of those that did get out had links to Iran."

Wasn't the blockade supposed to stop those Iran-linked ships?

NPR receives $113 million in charitable gifts "My hope is that this commitment provides the stability and the spark NPR needs to innovate boldly and strengthen its national network," says Connie Ballmer, who gave $80 million of the $113 million.

NPR has received one of the largest charitable gifts in its history.

"I support NPR because an informed public is the bedrock of our society" philanthropist Connie Ballmer said.

She and her husband Steve, former Microsoft CEO, have given away more than $3 billion.

The thing that made brushwork doable for me was pouring my ink into a shallow bowl (an ashtray, tbh). Never too much ink in the belly if you chisel it up on the edge after you dip.

Then I had kids, and never had time to wash a brush properly if I had to run up the stairs, and pens were in.

Oh, you’ve got faaaancy pens! I drop those damn things so easily.

Nowadays I have to stick to the cheap stuff, which isn’t very black, but which don’t make me cry. I find I do like the flex on the nib.

Back in the Stone Age, I inked everything in foreground and midground with a brush, background with a fairly small pen. Nowadays it’s Two Pens all the way.
