To any indie creator who has to work a day job to pay your rent, healthcare, and put food in your stomach, I see you and am right there with you (even if social media algorithms mean I can't always see your actual posts). And if no one said it today- you're doing your best, take care of yourself.
Right there with you. I studied animation and motion graphics in college and I have zero bandwidth for adding on more thing on top of all the other stuff I have to do to get my comics done.

Cooking is a serious time suck and focused task, half my cook time is spent just prepping. It's exhausting as hell after a fully cooked meal and realizing you have less than hour before bed so you can try to get some decent sleep.

Maureen is engaged in a combination of saving local woodland critters from woodland problems (turning over turtles who got flipped over, helping ducklings cross the street, etc) while also having spiderman style fights with villains that play to her beaver theme- she deals with poachers in the pilot
Maureen McIntosh aka The Beaver is a 15 year old superhero out of Fort McBurney in rural northern Minnesota. When she's not busy missing the bus because she was too busy helping the local wildlife she's desperately trying to get her town to take her small town heroics seriously.
