Nice :)
That photo is old, there are at least 50% more bikes in there now.

Well now my pc needs pod gauges.
Every surface here is knurled.
My family has Dutch heritage, you can tell because this is what my brother’s shed / workshop looks like.
The push by Apple from x86 to arm based chips in the last few years has been a good thing.
There sure as shit hasn’t been equivalent innovation on the software side though.
I am thankful I will likely never have to see one of those monstrosities in real life.
My dad bought one of the first ones in Aus, as he loved the idea of a more up to date defender. He was going to replace his 100 series cruiser with it. Anywho 2 years later and a long list of poorly handled issues he’s about to sell it. Still has the 100 series though!
I immediately focused on the pc still running windows xp. I sure hope this pic is from 20 years ago…
What a svelte beast!
'Nostalgia: it happened the way I remember it, even if I'm wrong.'
Finally, speaking truth to power(slides).
Bloody Chicken Salt Greg, he’s a menace.
A competent pc shop would be able to do this for you, and will be a lot cheaper to try first before forking out the thousands needed for a DR specialist.
Fingers crossed then! First step would be to remove the drive from the enclosure and try to connect it to a desktop pc via sata in case it is just the controller board for the case at fault. Hopefully the drive itself just has standard connectors and not a custom jobby.
A data recovery specialist can probably get the data off it, but it won’t be cheap. 😬
If the disk heads were parked when it fell the platters are probably ok.
Excellent steering feedback on this generation Prius 😂
Hopefully there is someone out there crazy enough to try 😁
Renault Megane RS 300 trophy R, Juke engine donor.
Nissan Juke
So what you’re saying is you could put an rs300 trophy engine in a juke….
Every time an a110 pops up on carsales I start doing dangerous math.
Is this actually a Nissan engine? Only other car I have seen it in is a Megane rs280 or 300. Cool if true!
A kids bicycle wheel adorned with colourful spoke enhancements that go up and down as you ride.
Sudden urge to put spokey dokes on those suckers
Sigh, we dared dream of something nice. Pity it was only a dream :(
Could be worse, you could have used your college computer lab username from 30 years ago…
The OPALS RH888 tyres that the Majesta came with, fitted for compliance reasons. From my research these are / were the cheapest 235/50/17 tyres available for purchase at the time, at around $65 AUD a tyre. Incredibly noisy on the highway and zero lateral grip, they also become drift missiles in the wet.
Michelin Primacy 5 tyres now fitted to the Majesta. They suit the character of the car much better, almost silent at speed and with excellent grip in all conditions.
Finally swapped out my old Chinese made rubber for some new… Chinese made rubber 🤣
These Primacy 5s are whisper quiet though, much better road feel too. Also I love having a 50 profile sidewall, so comfy!
No, it’s for paint and clear coat. I just found it incredibly effective with an orbital buffer on the Clios polycarbonate headlights.
Nice one!
Also if you need something slightly more abrasive, meguiars Ultimate compound works great as well.
Shrimps is indeed bugs.
