The first 2 eps of Witch Hat Atelier aired today ✨ I was a fan of this manga way before arcane even began, and much of my immediate love for jayvik came from the similarities they shared with this story of a common child seeking magic, so an AU felt natural. cant wait to draw them more!

Its complicated being trans and trying to be out at work without also having to constantly advocate and educate others. I dont always have the energy or social/emotional skills to call stuff out. I dont always feel very "visible" despite wearing a "they/them" pin to work every day since I started

Today my team leader used the fact his brother mistook a guy for a woman as a punchline in a joke. That his brother was "traumatised" and he found that funny.
My team leader is the only member of my team who consistently tries to use the correct pronouns for me.

It was trans day of visibility for me yesterday in NZ and I posted "happy trans day of visibility" in my team chat at work and no one acknowledged it.
