From an early morning walk:
"...And there in a wood a Piggy-wig stood
With a ring at the end of his nose...
...Dear Pig, are you willing to sell for one shilling
Your ring?" Said the Piggy, "I will."
So they took it away, and were married next day
By the Turkey who lives on the hill."

The view from here...
"Early one morning, just as the sun was rising..." ๐ถ
In my ever so 'umble opinion, every day should start with being able to enjoy a view such as this!
You've got to marvel at the tenacity of plants... this one flourishing halfway up a wall with little if any obvious moisture to be had (oh... and I quite like the way today's sunshine high-lights the petals too!)
This week's offering to the #ThickTrunkTuesday gang!
For #TidesOutTuesday.
Saturday sunrise - and teasels silhouetted against the sky.
For #FingerpostFriday (at Lyme Regis).
A Hampshire sunrise in March.
On the early morning dog walk.
For #ThickTrunkTuesday.
Here in the UK, I thought it a little early in the year for a coot to be sitting eggs - but apparently not!
March sunrise through the trees.
Light and dark - and signs of spring - around the village pond.
Whenever there's the tiniest glimpse of sunshine, she likes to make the most of whatever is on offer in the way of a few rays!
For #TidesOutTuesday - footprints in the sand, but no sign of either Robinson Crusoe or Man Friday.
Good morning!
"If we had no winter the spring would not be so pleasant."
Anne Bradstreet (1612-1672)
For #ThickTrunkTuesday - Salisbury cathedral.
'Black Prince' was bought, renovated and run by my late father-in-law, the artist and conservationist David Shepherd for many years - and then went to the North Norfolk Railway.
For #TidesOutTuesday - dawn over a Cornish beach.

The Munnings Museum - based in his old home at Castle House, Dedham, is well worth a visit.
