Thinking about sitting down and writing my first novel. Authors, what is your process? How do you take the concept causing the itch in your brain and put it on paper? Those that did not study creative writing, how did you overcome the feeling you can’t do it?

Those who have survived traumatic events and wrote a book about it, how was your experience? Therapeutic or traumatic? #booksky

Saw a lady looking at books and reading the backs of popular ones, so I decided to talk to her:) I recommend my fav book and she bought it! She said I made her day because she just started reading and didn’t know where to start. She was feeling lost. Made me so happy. I hope she loves it ⏰📚💙

I’ve been in a reading lull since i finished Exodus by Kate Stewart, the second book in the Ravenhood Trilogy. I’m still having difficulty getting into the Finish Line, even though it’s been 2-3 weeks 🫣

Book grief is so real!

my best friend is also a book friend. I LOVE that we read similar genres & book club them. We’ve been long distance friends for a couple years now and i want her back home.

I’m trying to convince her to come back, while also wanting the best for her and her growth. Adult friendships are hard.

y’all made my day when i logged into the app and saw i had more followers. it feels good to have people care about what i have to say 💙💙📚⏰

that’s the funny thing about apps like this - you follow to read their thoughts. Kinda neat when you think about it. I know it’s obvious, but nice to remember🫶🏻

I’ll take my time and take a breather for a bit. It’s raining here today, so that’s not helpful😭

I can't start Finish Line yet; my heart is too shattered from Exodus. I've never felt heartbreak like this from a book. The characters were so real—I fell in love and then into grief. I've read sad stories, but nothing compares to the pain of Exodus. There’s nothing like it. It still hurts.

The final book of the Ravenhood series has me hesitant to start after Exodus rocked me. I'm curious: will it be happier? Will I find closure? Can I let go of my love for characters she didn’t choose? Will the rain bring comfort instead of sorrow? Let’s see💙📚

I finished Exodus and wish I could go back to Flock. This book wrecked me—every emotion from anger to acceptance. I hate it but understand it. Kate Stewart is brilliant yet cruel.

I want to give it 4 stars out of stubbornness, even though it deserves 5.

4/5⭐️ because I’m sad and stubborn.

This book has not been kind to me at all 😭 it’s 3:03am and I can’t stop torturing myself 83% in. I just want everything to be okay and perfect again.

Kate Stewart, you beautiful monster.

Fans of this series, any encouragement is welcomed. Please tell me everything will be okay😭😭

Thank you😭🫂♥️ I work a little every day to try to make things happen for myself, while helping those around me do the same. That’s all I can do for now. May be brave enough to start writing my own novel, by beginning with a list of my ideas and see what comes of it

I needed this advice.Thank you♥️It hurts a little more than normal when there’s a strike against something I’m already insecure about. The “manipulation” aspect doesn’t hurt as much, because I know my heart and far that is from true. But being successful, that one hurt. A lot. But she is not *well*🥲
