I did a regular deployment but we didn’t pull into a port for 4 months because 9/11 happened. It was mind numbing and a serious leadership challenge to keep everyone from killing each other.

I know the nuclear operators onboard have to be in perpetual pissed off mode. They are cranky during any underway period. A record long deployment has to have created a completely toxic environment.
Nice.
The first baseman hit a home run also. Cats living with dogs.
Well, at least Burrows’ shoulders are completely healthy. #staypositive #Astros
Heck yeah! We have the Meats. #TeamArbys
Well, Trump is destroying the world economy and the #Astros are terrible so far this year, but on the bright side, I started a new job today and I think it will be great. You have to stay positive somehow.
Nimitz High School student coming back to Houston. Love it.
Bolton looking pretty good. #Astros
Brian Abreu as well. Are we sure that isn’t Jose Abreu? #Astros
Yainer Diaz is now occupying the position in my mind that Christian Walker did last season. #Astros
It is just what I thought. He is the dumbest motherfucker that has ever walked on this Earth. Why am I watching this bullshit?
Just saw this on IG. Hilarious.
#Astros swept them hoes. Gotta love it.
New pitching coaches did some work, apparently.
I probably would have gone full Navy on that lady and anyone in earshot would have cried.
Today the air conditioning bit the dust in my relatively new vehicle. Luckily, it is covered by the warranty and they had a loaner car for me. Still a hassle.
Yeah, and as much as I hate to say it, Verlander is WASHED.
I don’t want to pay a subscription to be able to operate my printer. Also, I want a printer that works every time that I try to use it.
Where have you been? Good to see you!
Looking good so far. #Astros
Good night, Houston! #Astros
Based on how the Angels played defense last night, maybe they are a good team this year. It crossed my mind. However, f we keep batting this poorly, it doesn’t really matter who we play.
I’ve worked in nuclear power for over 30 years as an operator and an instructor. There has been less than 10 deaths caused by operations at nuclear plants in the US in the history of the industry. No other industry has a safety record that is even close. Like my original post said, fear prevails.
The tsunami did not damage the plant otherwise that would have caused the core to be damaged. Only those fuel tanks.
It would have been fine if the fuel tanks for the emergency diesel generators were enclosed in a building, protected from being washed away. Once they lost the ability to maintain electric power, they could not keep the core cooled. That was the design flaw.
