Having a plan plan is better than having no plan plan.

With the fuel protest, high prices and now the start of a run on the filling stations. It makes me happier and happier to have both our cars as electric.
Wake up people. You need to switch and stop sending hundreds of euros wafting to the big fat oil companies and it also helps the environment
I just want to clear something up I’ve
noticed that when I share a lot of autism
awareness content, some people assume
I’m struggling or going through a hard
time. I understand why it might come
across that way, but that’s not the case.
I have twice the power. It accelerates faster. I have loads more technology. It way better to drive.
It’s also significantly better for the environment as every bit of electricity I use is green sourced.
Get an EV. Save a fortune and do some good for the world, for a change.
That’s €74.53 per 1000km saving worst case. I’m saving €3700 a year on fuel, over €4000 or more if including summer prices.
My EV was the same price as my ICE before. I’d save €18000 in 5 years.
My tyres wear at the same rate. I save on servicing as well.
My local filling station is now charging €1.89 a litre. My last ICE car, that would have meant paying €122.65 for approx 1000km of driving.
I can pay 19c in work per kW/h or 25c at home. 1000km of EV driving that either €36.87 or €48.12. That’s winter kms. Summer it would be €29.26 or €38.50
According to multiple NYT sources, it wasn’t even military personnel at Fort Bliss that fired an anti-drone laser at alleged cartel drones. It was CBP who used the weapon on loan from DoD against a child’s party balloon they mistook for a drone. The Pentagon gave CBP an anti-aircraft weapon.
Well done. One less medical until retirement.

What other US airports have seat of the pants separations ?
Also I was being conservative with the tank cost. It was a 64 litre tank, so at €1.79 that’s €114 per tank. 36 tanks at that price is €4100.
That’s about €3600 in diesel costs if we had kept our diesel. Assuming we had been able to get a 1000kms out of a tank and it had only cost €100 for that tank. Current diesel costs are €1.79 per litre.
Thankfully being an EV it’s only cost between €1000 and €1200 at worst.
1st ever ?!
It’s the second.
Aer Lingus currently flies to Tromso twice a week.
You do know that it’s not about Maduro…..don’t you ?!
It’s about oil. The world’s largest reserves. Just so Americans can have cheap pump prices and American Billionaires can get even wealthier.
Yes, the media is heavily Tory biased. So they have been targeting everything Labour have done since they won the election.
Clearly the UK has a magic money tree, and that’s where all the billions needed after the Tories and Farage destroyed the UK, and that’s where the money should come from.
I’ve also buried colleagues before they got to enjoy life after retirement.
Yep agreed, we’ve had it with our ANSP for the last 25 years. Years ago lots of controllers were going to go as long as they could to get their full pensions, now the same people are saying that they will be gone at the earliest they can leave.
People can only be shafted so much.
1h40m of @flightradar24.com NYC-bound traffic sped up by 20,000% down to 30 seconds.
It’s not too often we see all three major airports using the same runway 4 approaches. It’s beautiful.
Yep and our bosses want to remove the inducement in January for working our arses off to cover the holes they have made.
Yet again we will have to show them the they haven’t fixed the problem.
Is this because of the shutdown, controllers not covering OT due to none payment ? Why is now showing management/public what happens when there is not enough bums on seats.
Those straps should be 10 times wider to evenly spread the load. What on earth were they thinking ?! Amateur hour.
That’s the aircraft’s level, I’m asking about the weather.
In this case the image is of precipitation and most likely very low down. Below 5000ft, you are correct the aircraft is at 37000ft. So most likely significantly above the rain, and at that above GREEN lower intensity rain.

So you know nothing about aviation and meteorology then ?!
What level is that image of the weather showing ? 5000ft 15000ft FL200 FL300 ?
