I had to go into the wayback machine to find a good chunk of yellow. The 2 choices were next to each other but I went with the #RelicKnights

The live action is great (in the way JP live action is great).

Innocence is a sequel to the original movie.
SAC is AU 1.
Arise and The New Movie is AU 2.
The American movie is AU 3.
The forthcoming series is looking like it may be more of an adaptation of the original manga, but we’ll see. (If it is then it obstensibly makes the first 2 movies AU.))

I hope so.

Got the fast part done and now onto the fiddly part of all the trim. Once the armour is done I can get the cloth and flesh sorted. However, there’s no way I’m hitting the 100 minis goal, but at least I’ve made good progress on things again and am back into painting. #WarhammerCommunity

One of my favourites is what (and it’s ilk) that used to be spelt and pronounced hwat, but the printers changed it to “what” and now that’s how we spell and pronounce it.

The autocanon and flamer one just needs metal highlights and some details picked out. The other one needs the second skin highlight and the wash on the skin and other parts to catch up. With some effort will be done tomorrow. #WarhammerCommunity

Also worth noting that if you skipped to basing after the all over shade you would have a good looking unit for just getting on the table painted and then later you can take your time adding highlights to truly finish the models.

The best thing they could do for #wh40k is get rid of true line of site, it’s so limiting on designs for models both for GW and for people doing conversions. #WarhammerCommunity

Continuing to apply base colours to get a feel for the models. Gold, bone/horn/teeth all covered and shadow for flesh getting in place. The loincloth is finished though. #WarhammerCommunity

The other issue is the light source is not defined, so the reflections (bright spots) are random instead of looking like metal with a light shining on it. (This is the hardest part to get right. A good way is paint all black, while wet hit with a bright light and take a photo while wet and lit.)

Looking at it you are lacking the dark areas next to the bright areas to define the volumes. For example all of the top of the spike on the shoulder is bright, but as a cone it should have different amounts of light on it depending where the light source is.

Why I'm thinking 2 boxes, a lot of Eshin and a solid start on the Cities stuff I want.
