Yep 4 years as in 2 from now. Brad Scott’s initial contract expiration. If we are still a ‘basket case’ then the supporter base will be out with their pitch forks.

We’ll know after 4 years. It’s best for the Club to let him see that through.

My two cents - Andrew Welsh left footy, went straight into business and was very successful in it. Dean Solomon continued in footy for two decades then went into business. I think he has a more rounded resume to be our ‘Football Director’

I think Dave Barham is a shoe in to get re-elected.

If Melissa Verner Green misses out - I’m not sure changing one ninth of the Board destabilises the club at all?

Dave was much more relaxed than I’ve heard him in the past and very very honest.

3rd at the Combine with 6 mins 16 seconds. He’s a good runner, great signs 👍

Hope he’s not the only train on player. Not sure id go with him again to be honest.

I haven’t picked a favourite yet but I get the feeling Rhys Unwin is going to be one of those players that opposition supporters love to hate.

Take one. Still have pick 91 waiting there to match a VERY late bid or simply pass and take him as a Cat B rookie.

Still think it was the correct call for Essendon to not trade a future first to Richmond. They waited the full 5 minutes hoping we would cave.

Geelong currently holds picks 42,50 & 70.

Trade 43 & 60 to Geelong for 42 & 70. Makes our last ‘pass pick’ right towards the end of the draft.

After that,

Lachie Jaques - team of the year Coates, All Australian u18. Looks like a really nice intercepting defender. Slightly awkward kick but seems to mostly hit targets.

And I hope we use our last pick on Riley Bice. Think his kicking out of the backline could be really useful to us.
