I had a near death experience once where my hair stopped growing for months—no need to re-bleach my roots, no need to shave my face—and it was life-changing.

So when I started laser and my cismale friends tried to tell me how much it was a mistake, I'd miss having a beard, I laughed and laughed.

Reading so much trans lit lately, it seems like every character's first change is very sensitive nipples (in a good way), and that...is not me.

They hurt when growing or if I flop down on my stomach, but there is zero (good) sensitivity there.

I wouldn't notice if this wasn't ubiquitous on fiction

I keep getting unsolicited compliments from cis women about my voice as a trans woman without doing any voice training, and I never know how to parse that. Is it good? Or are they being polite?

Maybe I always sounded like my mom and nobody wants to tell a 'guy' that?

Does HRT affect painkillers, or specifically when they're numbing an area locally for surgery?

Feels like before HRT, it took a lot before I couldn't feel anything. But the few times I've needed a small surgery after, they get it numb pretty quickly with a much smaller dose.

Why did I censor that.

Me today, after having to lie flat on my stomach and chest on a hard slab for an hour during a medical procedure: "F*CK."
