I really liked the first 3/4 of SIGNS, so it doubly hurt that the final 1/4 of the movie is so insanely stupid and insulting that it goes back in time and undoes the existing virtues of itself. It showers cold piss on biology, physics, reason AND faith, plus every last component of narrative craft.
