🥹🥹 I can’t thank you enough for these kind words! This made my whole week 💖
Posts by Jamie Daggers - Mini Painter/Game Designer
This is such a kindness!! Thank you so much for saying so. It can be thankless trying to make a living doing this but the fact that it encourages others is one of the highlights!!
File this one under: boring dystopia 😅
Thank you my friend!

I’m humbled and so proud of all of the work it took to get my game to this point, and I’m hoping it’ll open more doors to design and editing.
Lyctor will continue to grow in the next year and I’m so eager to share more with you. If you bought it and try, let me know what you think!!

Adepticon 2026 has come and gone in a flash!
Big wins:
- Selling out of my first published game, Lyctor, before the weekend was over!
- selling out all of my classes, and getting incredibly kind feedback
- spending quality time with some of my best friends in the whole world.

Little treat of awesomeness!

I will be honest that it is difficult for me to really be excited for skirmish games typically, but this has actually really peaked my interest.

okay so AI is absolutely cratering imminently and I need all of you to PROMISE me you won't take the high road, and will laugh and rub it in their faces as much as possible. I need you to laugh and go 'WE TOLD YOU SO, BITCH" at every opportunity, PLEASE be extremely mean and ruthless
I’ve gotten far off topic here, so if you’re still reading, thanks for following my ramble (I really should look into more long form outlets for these thoughts. Lmk if that’s at all compelling I guess?)
Buy my game, steal it if ya have to, share it, break it, but tell me what ya think. 💖☠️
The beauty of this industry is that it’s undeniably unique, but largely staffed by people who share in (if nothing else) extreme passion for connection and shared experience.
Even if our dialects differ, our common language is play, so to speak.
Do it while you still patronize the industry leaders! The game industry is one of razor-thin margins, and friendly but fierce competition. Your dollar will always go farther with indie publishers but is still SO VERY important to even the most prolific.
Making games is my dream, but it’s a tough one in a competitive field of legacy designers who deservedly command the lion’s share of attention. But if you want to see new perspectives, a more diverse range of experiences, get weird, and take risks: support new design.
I totally understand that the state of the world has everyone’s finances pinched right now though! But sharing is free, and EVERY eye on an indie project like this makes a world of difference.
In other words, you could single-handedly help grow my career as a designer!
Guys, you blew me away with the love for Lyctor yesterday with all the likes and shares. It’s making me so eager to get back to designing it and so many other titles!
It would mean the world to me if ya picked up a copy ($10 for the PDF!) and shared your thoughts on socials.

Another spread of the printed version of Lyctor. Along with the outer framing, the text on this page is surrounded by a spiky chain rendered in vintage red ink. On the opposite page, another sketch-heavy drawing of a heavily scarred skeleton gazes menacingly with a mouth full of fangs and a heavy plate gorget
Lyctor features one-of-a-kind combat mechanics powered by playing cards. No wounds, no measuring tools, just pure, brutal strategy combat. Decimate your opponent on the unique dual-layered realms of deathless skirmish. Gamble with your own life by summoning a fearsome Avatar.
The printed book for Lyctor. The cover is a vintage red color with an eerie skull drawing done in a sketchy blue pencil
Full spread of the printed version of Lyctor featuring a sample of the rules. The text is framed by a cold looking, sharp metallic bracket that mimics the vibe of wicked armor paneling.
☠️ Big milestone for me as my first non-self published tabletop game goes live next Friday 3/20!
Lyctor is a low model count, mini agnostic skirmish game that puts you in the role of an Adept of the Necromantic arts in a battle-beyond-death-match to ascend to Lyctorhood and acquire profane powers.
