The best response is not to react at all, but to turn his villa on Lake Como into a place for Ukrainian children affected by Russia’s war to rest and recover.

By the way - will the Russian exhibit open up at the Venice Biennale?

If not for Trump, what's the emoluments clause for? What's impeachment for? What's the 25th Amendment for? What's section 3 of the 14th Amendment for? What are checks and balances for?

The baddies are cherrypicking the Constitution the same way they do the bible: for their own benefit.

🧵 Ecco cosa si dice negli eventi organizzati dall'ambasciata russa in Italia.

"Siamo pronti all'escalation, prima con attacchi convenzionali nelle maggiori città europee, poi con l'impiego di armi nucleari". "Siamo pronti a punire l'Europa".

Fatemi dire un paio di cose.

Stop praising Orbán for not attempting a coup.

He only stepped down because Magyar's win was too massive to steal.

He rigged the constitution, captured the institutions, and used state media to his advantage.

He did everything he could to destroy democracy, and he failed

Thinking Live with Phillips O'Brien on War in Iran and Ukraine A recording from my conversation with Phillips O'Brien

What does the Iran war have to do with sustaining the Russian economy? Lifting sanctions for Russians does nothing for Americans. It just makes it easier for Russia to continue its war in Ukraine. I spoke with @phillipspobrien.bsky.social about Iran and Russia.

That’s the point — if we are aware of the scenarios and we are ready to mock and block, these stunts can be deterred or turned against Trump. One of them just failed hard in Hungary — because people were ready!

It’s as if the Iran war was fought to sustain the Russian economy. Lifting sanctions for Russians does nothing for Americans. It just makes it easier for Russia to continue its war in Ukraine.

God, the modern world is so bad. Back in the day, everyone was roughly 2x taller than me, someone would always make my meals, and way more time was spent watching cartoons. The modern world is so much worse somehow despite technological progress

A unitree h1 (2023 version) just broke the human speed record for the 1500 meter run.

This is a huge milestone for humanoid robots. Capabilities have advanced really fast. The capabilities of the hardware that is already being scaled are nowhere close to tapped out.

Responsible leaders must be honest with their societies.

Russia is already waging a war against Europe by systematically targeting civilian environment - the systems that enable everyday life. These attacks take concrete forms:⤵️

Dear Media:

Blindly quoting the President without fact-checking or context is just misinformation with a press pass.

We don’t need stenographers; we need journalists. Do your job.

Foreign policy should not be driven by the whims of one man. The interagency process I saw during the Obama administration—where many voices talked, debated, and worked through the consequences of decisions—is all but gone. This over-personalization of foreign policy is dangerous

Don't let our reality become background noise or a "show" you've grown tired of. Please help us amplify the truth. Every life taken was important and irreplaceable. These are not just statistics; they are unspeakable crimes.

It’s not just selfish -it’s a complete breach of the Budapest Memorandum in 1994 when the US and others encouraged Ukraine to give up its nuclear arsenal in exchange for these countries guaranteeing Ukraine’s borders.

The US is duty-bound to assist in Ukraine’s defence or its promises mean nothing.

I travelled 27 hrs, fought endless visa issues to give this talk for our award-winning paper at #CHI2026.

Your turn to show up 📍 P1, Room 112, Apr 15 (Wed), 12 noon. But why?

I wish the didn't impact every knowledge worker. Sadly, it does, and we need to talk about it.

Hey, look at Substack promoting Andrew Tate as the #1 new bestseller. The company's amoral leadership & backers will platform anyone, even ludicrously toxic rapists & human traffickers.

The effective federal corporate income tax rate:

1950: 50%
1990: 25%
2020: 13%

Stop asking "but how we will pay for it?" Restore the corporate tax rate.

That is how we will pay for it.

On a more serious note, this does show the necessity of a big-tent single-issue pro-democracy coalition. Autocrats lose when anti-authoritarianism is the opposition-uniting priority, and win when they can play divide and conquer on lesser issues.

He also announces a constitutional reform and that Hungary is joining EPPO.

Opposition leader Péter Magyar at a rally.

Opposition leader Péter Magyar at a rally.

Orbán's electoral crushing is a far greater achievement than most people outside Hungary realise.

He systemically consolidated power for 16 years, fixed the electoral map, abused govt power for political purposes & censored media.

The hurdles that Hungarians overcame for this moment were immense.
