Mark Sheppard is iconic. Sterling is my favorite of his roles. Such a phenomenal antagonist for the first series.

I forgot I still have my wig for Lucas. One of these days, a Damn the Man, Save the Empire series on Rex Manning Day has to be a thing.
Regrettably, Mac. And I can't use 3rd party topls either. So, no system audio recording. ๐ฅฒ
Hypothetical question. You are screen recording a training. And your work desk also has your ball python's enclosure. And he picks that time to relieve himself.
It is audible. And there is at least a 30% chance it picked up on the mic.
No one will ever believe it was not you.
What do you do?
Indeed. A few silly ones, a few dramatic ones. Gotta mix it up, you know?
This is a phenomenal take. I didn't sit in the 90+ degree heat gluing together playing cards made with powerpoint clip art and blanks I ordered for 20 some odd hours last summer making a prototype for someone to claim prompt writing is the same level of effort. Games are an Artform and Art is human.
The urge to continue designing my Isekai Game. Knowing that the ideal state uses tech solutions do to the math for players and GMs, and that I can't program, and refuse to engage with AI.
Well, I will figure it out somehow. I just need to redo a big part of it first and then go from there.
"Besides, you look good in a dress." *Riker smirks, Bisexually*
As a physical-first enthusiast, I agree it isn't how I want to see the industry going. New Game Book Smell is bliss. I'd pay more per book to keep game books in our (literal) hands. I know it's financially rough and getting rougher for most of us. Again, thanks for all your insights!
Appreciate the insights... But wow. That is a rough outlook for any self-published ttrpgers. Is making physical media the rarity with games going direct to PDF as an expectation a possible solution?
The cover of the tabletop book Karthun Lands of Conflict, A 5e compatible wildly cool sourcebook with a ton of elemental inspiration.
I absolutely will get this guy a sibling book for Daggerheart.
I had started making the idea of cards for one of my games... until I did the math and realized that the whole game would need about 2,000 of them.
My thoughts to answer their question: "What role should AI have in game creation?"
None. End of discussion. Now, let's get back to humans making art the way Miyazaki prefers.
Sometimes a genetic predisposition to Acid Reflux is the sole culprit. Sometimes it's stress. Sometimes it's the 9:30pm cup of coffee and garlic rosemary focaccia bread. When you combine the three, expect your Saturday to be exhausted from lack of sleep the night before. I accept 33% blame here.
I saw someone make their own warhammer guide using this method. It legitimately was brilliant.
So, threatening a war crime on television. yeah... that'll go well for Kegseth. At the Hague.
A picture of the cover of the tabletop book "Unnatural Horrors, An expanded tome of terrors and madness to unleash on your table." The cover features a cloaked figure wielding a torch or glowing weapon against a smokey giant creature with many teeth rising from the dark.
So my copy of the book Unnatural Horrors (Usable with Tales of the Valiant and 5e/equivalent ttrpg systems) has arrived. And it is absolutely spectacular. The art, the layout, the design? All stellar. Highly recommend if you like adding horror into your games.
Oddly, the storm is so long that the same one gave us a trip as well.
I do not miss the tone of those emails. My last Ohio election was 2018 back in Cuyahoga County. I do miss the "I [Ohio] Voted" stickers though.
Anyone familiar with whether or not people are designing Aventure Path style books, but for Daggerheart? I know Campaign Frames exist. But, my pet project is... quite a lot bigger than that.
Congratulations! Hope it is even more fun than I imagine that kind of job to be!
Good response. I am glad that you share the values of your community.
Do you like #Daggerheart and #SurvivalHorror blended with a bit of #BaseBuilding? Keep an eye on my next project ๐. I'm making neat stuff.
A new game by a designer I have bought from before has just landed on the KS page: Photon System Overdrive TTRPG, via @Kickstarter www.kickstarter.com/projects/pir...
Definitely recommend checking it over if you are curious, Tim Gonzalez puts a lot of thought and passion into these projects.
I wonder if anyone told him that Section 122 tariffs only last for 150 days and then congress has to agree with him. And well, it's an election year. They know how bad his policy looks and that a majority do not approve. When they collapse in July, I wonder what happens then. ๐ฎโ๐จ
Pre-emptive block to him.
I already have another 2 projects lined up. A narrative Rules Light game (I know, me? Rules Light?!) and a campaign book for an already existing system I had started years ago. So, that is where I am at.
I have 2 fixes for That Time I Got Reincarnated the Ttrpg before I shelve it at v.0.4. Future iterations need an app to work. The game, while fun, puts too much on the GM and players. The bones are good. The learning curve is too steep.

It can be tricky to shelve a project. But accepting that something is both good and requires skills outside of your wheelhouse is a part of growth. Anyway, I am going to be trying to either learn how to program a videogame and/or app, or moving to a new tabletop game idea.
