Signal maps are such a godsend in those situations! If I see you down this way again, I'll make sure I wave πŸ˜‚

Not far behind at all! It overtook me as I was leaving Dawlish, but the signaller hadn't set the route through Teignmouth for it! We both ended up rounding the curve into Teignmouth at roughly the same time - was rather cool! 😁

That's a great shot, thanks! It's the first time I've ever done that hence the very serious look πŸ˜‚ I'm glad you got to the bridge in time for the HST😁

Yesterday's evening entertainment was the family friendly game of "Can you remember whether or not there's a 7 car mark at this station?"

I've now driven a 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9 car formation, just need the 10 to complete the set!

When you get 4 different stopping patterns & 3 different headcodes for the same train, it doesn't hurt to have a somewhat large reminder of where you're meant to stop πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ˜…

Aha! Glad I could be of service. I got back to Yeovil exactly 1 minute before the end of my day!

I did creep through the platform at BSK, just in case the message hadn't got through...πŸ˜‚

6 years on the railway today and looked what arrived in the post to mark the day. A copy of the 1961 signal box diagram for Gillingham, around the time my Grandad started on the railway 😊
