I’ve seen this Dacian helmet in person and looked at its picture more times than I can count. Can’t wrap my head around the fact that such a priceless cultural artifact is gone without a trace 💔

A memory of family meals: “Burnt Rice (Again)” and “White Girl Curry #1 & #2”. Install shot from a show this past fall.

Really liked the idea of pattern as “storytelling technology”. I think about that a lot in my own work, in terms of finding ways to write lines of visual “code” that can bypass language.
