But lack of physical injury doesn’t mean nobody was hurt. Those present—& the broader Jewish community—will bear scars. Many will fear violence for just being in Jewish spaces.

Ann Arbor showed up to protest what we’ve seen from ICE across the US.
Nobody—including federal officers—is above the law. But lawyers won’t win this alone. As in Minnesota, it takes all of us, working together, to put and end to this.

We need to open the bridge, create Michigan jobs, and bolster our state economy.

I'd be lying if I said that it's a straightforward legal path. But given all the economic pain working families have experienced in recent years, we owe it to them to procure whatever relief we can.
