I cannot understand how the primary use case for any operating system could be gaming when the user is an adult over 30 years old.

Poster for the movie Elvis Presley in Concert at the entrance of an IMAX movie theater in Mexico City.
Those videotapes waited 50 years to be revealed by a true artist. Thank you, Baz Luhrmann, it was amazing. #elvis #epic #epicfilm #elvisPresley.
Speaking of AI taking jobs away from programmers, I keep seeing terribly designed and poorly programmed web apps, redundant workflows, unnecessary data capture, and sections of pages with unprotected personal data publicly visible... No AI would have made such terrible mistakes.
The University of Utah found a copy of UNIX v4 in one of its offices. The tape remained hidden for 50 years until a researcher discovered it among a pile of old trash. A janitor was fired.

Composite image. David Bowie (as Ziggy Stardust with an eye patch) left and a young Elvis Presley right. Both playing a guitar while standing up.
#ElvisPresley called #DavidBowie months before his death (1977) to ask him to produce his next album. What a great team they could have made! By the way, it's January 8th, happy birthday to both of them!
Well... He's right.
Ya casi terminan! felicidades!!!
Wow! Cรณmo va esto?

I'm testing Claude.ai for complex software requirements engineering tasks and it's like a rollercoaster ride: Interactive work and in-depth analysis are like "๐ฑ๐ซฃ๐คฏ WOW OMG!!!!" and then I hit the session usage limits like "seriously??? wait for 3 hours or $200??? ๐ช๐๐ซค"
@dustedcodes at X.Com comments about a capture of c# code "var builder = WebApplication.CreateBuilder(args);" --- The very first line captures everything I dislike about .NET. No C# developer actually knows what this one magic line does. It configures a shitload of magic stuff there and nobody knows what it is. Literally every .NET dev just hopes it works for them and when it doesnโt they jump between 20 different StackOverflow threads and try 20 different builder permutations until it somehow works for them. Then when it finally does they get build errors because that builder function which finally worked is from .NET 7 and now in .NET whatever-fucking-version-it-is-today, itโs meant to be initialised differently and then they are back to StackOverflow again. Thatโs how C# devs spend 4 hours just fucking around being unproductive because the magic always stops working at some point and then there is nothing left but a shit show.
This isn't a #dotnet problem, it's a poor developer education issue. There is no "magic" and you don't need to waist hours in StackOverflow, dotnet is well documented and is open source.

Some jerk hurts a living tree just for fun and likes. Instagram's official account promotes it, of course.
