Peek is the GOAT
also surely there is a place for Everything on that list there - incredibly useful to quick search files

this #gameaudio talk just blew my mind 🤯
a very unconventional approach of using the interactive music hierarchy in @audiokinetic.bsky.social wwise to create a breathing system that can exploit transition rules to go between different breaths

Game devs, post your first shipped game and your latest shipped game
another co-op i’m curious about

absolutely smashing #gameaudio talk on music structures in wwise for large open-world games - this one is from Destiny 2. loved how they automated structures in music hierarchy along with transitions 😱
if you have gdc vault access highly recommend this one - gdcvault.com/play/1034383...
mega excited for this new co-op adventure from hazelight studios - the announcement has just made my day

well done! do you mean the same script for music segments? i doubt it since it's not an audio source.
however you can use the object.create command to add custom cues using the following arguments. fun fact: you can even use object.set

yea you’re probably correct on the music front - i need to stop putting on my analysis hat and just enjoy the music like a normal person haha
@gg-gia.bsky.social and i were talking about how Troy sounds so much like a young Harrison Ford its uncanny - also a very fun game from the couple of hours we’ve played it! i’m still unsure about the music if i like it - might be a personal thing though haha
not a black friday deal but i cant believe it's been 4 years since i've been subscribed to @kilohearts.com plugins for my #gameaudio work - today i can finally redeem all their plugins through their subscribe to own rewards 👽
i know at least one person who mentioned about this going to 70% off this morning haha - glad it’s back to 90% - very kind of you 🫡
yea don’t be afraid to do deep dive ones and keep them separate from your main reel - think it might serve you better to do that.
funnily i do have examples for that as well from the same project i worked on - again only for some inspiration! hope it helps!

haven’t made one in a few years but i can share what landed me my junior audio tech role - more just for inspiration
i like the flow of this is how i did it-> this is how it sounds. but you can choose to go for what flow suits you/your clips. aim for something less than 3 mins

DT990 pro all the way for everything from mixing, making music and designing sounds - i don’t think i can go back to closed back ever again - they sound a bit unnatural to me. that being said i do tend to check my reverb dials on DT770 to compare as i tend to go overboard with open back
event tick sure gets a bad rep doesn't it? if you dint know this already you can change the tick interval (in secs) by going into class defaults of bp to something that is more suitable to your needs - especially if you know that the bp won't require anything in future to update on every frame
here to say i’m so bad at making both that i gave myself tummy aches when kneading dough at home 😭🤣 now i get ready to go shana rotis and aloo parathas 😇
great interview - really curious about the movie now!
and such a cute one at that! looks like it’s posing as well lol
one of the best #gameaudio talks you can listen to for music design would be this one from gdc about the music systems in ghost of tsuhshima
i especially love how they have handled the trope of ping-pong based on proximity in combat systems - grab a cuppa and dive in
