There was good support for change across the system and a clear mandate from the OECD and other reviews . So a wasted opportunity, tbh. Elements of pusillanimous policy makers and entrenched interests impeding reform

Student teachers: don’t forget to make the most of whole-school experiences whilst you’re on placement. Staff meetings, in-service days, inter-disciplinary projects etc. are all great opportunities to build positive relationships across the school.
