I mixed topics yes. Imho it is not fully open source until all the code is revealed though. And with its own federation protocol we will see where it leads. Thanks for the input.

But can I take the code and run an Bluesky instance on my own? As far as I read Bluesky will be a decentralized service with federation someday. It is not criticism at all, I just don’t see the proper open source and federation approach here.
