@thatagedwell.bsky.social Do you guys have a list with the scores of all the movies you’ve reviewed to date?

We lost a lot of good philosophers that day. And Alcibiades, so I guess it evened out though.
Realized I posted the damn thing in 1x and I don't care for deleting and changing just for that lmao. 14/13
Reading this, I just realized I've been switching between both ways of saying it all my life.
I tried to explain it once and the looks everyone was giving me by the end made me feel like I should have committed myself.
These are the guys who are introduced in ANH casually confirming that they will use threats of genocide to keep civilians under their iron heels. They know full well Palpatine is an evil tyrant and their response to that knowledge is “Hell yeah, sign me up!”
I’ve thought about this a few times and while the low level guys would probably be terrified, I don’t believe for a second any of the higher up Imperials would bat an eye at the Emperor zapping someone right in front of them. (1/)
Rapture for Nerds is a hilarious way of phrasing it. Thank you for that.
Now draw me like one of your French Squirtles.
Confession: I always want new fans to see Andor before Rogue One because I love watching them grow attached to Cassian, think Rogue One is his big triumphal movie, only to have their hearts shattered when he dies at the end.

I was about to say he needed bigger rocks, but then I remembered the Ewoks actually did have a set of catapults hurling boulders at the walkers and they weren’t very useful either.
The weapons and traps that utilized logs were way more effective, come to think of it. Wonder why.
Suddenly listening to those @totalusrankium.bsky.social president episodes where the main drama was tariffs with obsessive interest now.
Whatever else emerges in time about the Delta crash in Canada, one thing is certain: the importance & amazing professionalism of flight attendants who safely evacuated the plane in a matter of seconds.
Brianna Keilar: Do you think that calling Elon Musk a dick is effective messaging?
Congressman Robert Garcia: Well, he is a dick.

You can image my surprise when I opened my copy of Trails of Cold Steel (PS4) yesterday and there actually was a manual in there with the game, with little character bios and everything.
THANK YOU! This action is inspiring!

Comic page with eight panels in four rows. Panel 1 shows a person's leg walking down a gloomy hallway, keys in their hand. They say "You know, some other guy came by a few years back, to get info from Isley, too." Panel 2 shows a door with a window pane, and the label "P. Isley" on it. The person continues "She ate him for breakfast." Panel 3 shows a woman with brown skin and long, dark brown, wavy hair, wearing an orange shirt, looking down (referred to as Poison Ivy from here on). The speaking continues, "But seeing as how you're a broad, maybe you'll get more outta her. Good luck, anyway." Panel 4 shows a woman with tan skin and black hair in a tight bun, wearing glasses and a red blazer. She is standing just inside the door. She says, "Thank you." Panel 5 shows Poison Ivy, now looking up slightly. She says, "I told that last guy just what he expected to hear. What makes you think I'd tell you the truth now?" Panel 6 shows the woman in glasses kneeling to meet Poison Ivy's position seated on the floor. She says, "I don't, Ms. Isley. But every lie you tell reveals something true about yourself." Panel 7 shows Poison Ivy's mouth in profile as she speaks, saying "You're cleverer than he was anyway. I grew up in a quiet part of Seattle, where there was plenty of grass and trees and almost none of it belonged there."
Putting my Poison Ivy origin comic up here! I actually made this after getting mad at Neil Gaiman's "Pavane" where he wrote her as boy-obsessed and helpless at the mercy of her professor.
This isn't permanently over, but there is a ~0% chance they rescind that memo this quickly if Dems hadn't spent yesterday lighting them up in the press and maximizing the uproar and negative earned media.
